Special Education Session: Enriching Our Teaching Through Integration

On Sunday June 13, 2004, there will be a day-long session that includes all the organizations; this may be one of the most extensive education sessions that CASCA has been involved in.

The Education day sessions, will not be in parallel with other CASCA sessions. The theme is "Enriching Our Teaching Through Integration". For example, how can we more effectively integrate examples and approaches from astrophysics, biophysics and medical physics into general physics teaching, and how can we better incorporate foundation principles from physics in the teaching of astrophysics, biophysics and medical physics.

This session will feature invited talks and contributed talks and posters. CASCA will invite one speaker. CASCA members are invited to submit one abstract to the education session in addition to submitting an abstract for the regular science session. The contributed abstracts may be on any educational topic, however those on the theme will be preferentially selected for talks.
