Radiative corrections in parity violating electron scattering. [Blunden] Next-to-Leading-Order (NLO) effects in the physics of the electro-weak interactions play a crucial role in tests of the Standard Model. Calculations of the NLO contribution are based on the loop corrections. We have calculated the NLO effects in parity-violating electron scattering, with monopole form factors for the hadronic currents, and have computed radiative corrections along with the weak charges of the proton and neutron, as well as (more recently) one of the larger corrections to the weak charge of the proton, due to the gamma-Z box term ( ref.: PRD). |
